Landscape Maintenance Supervisor / Driver
Greenstar Landscape Management is looking for a Landscape Maintenance Supervisor / Driver who can supervise and coordinate the activities of crews on the maintenance of grounds for commercial, residential, and public properties.
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties/responsibilities not listed may be required)
- Job requirements Safely drives crew to and from work sites where needed. Assigns tasks to crew daily.
- Monitor irrigation systems on properties on site.
- Communicate damage or improvement needs.
- Fill out paperwork, including time sheets daily.
- Operates tools and mechanical machinery used for landscape maintenance.
- Mows lawns, trims and edges around walks, flower beds, and walls.
- Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs.
- Sprays lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides.
- Rakes and bags leaves. Cleans grounds and removes litter.
- Prepares and grades terrain.
- Seeds and sods lawns.
- Digs trenches for irrigation systems or piping Remove tree brush after tree trimmers prune, cut and shape trees.
- Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
- Waters lawn and shrubs.
- Cleans out drainage ditches and culverts.
- Sharpens tools such as weed cutters, edging tools, and shears.
- Makes minor repairs on equipment such as lawn mower, spreader equipment.
- Trims and removes trees from client properties.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 – $25.00 per hour
